Meet Dr. Jacquelyn Bailey

Jacquelyn Bailey, MD, MPH is a board-certified family medicine physician with specialized expertise in obesity management, women’s health, and comprehensive primary care for all ages. She is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique health journey. Dr. Bailey brings extensive experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s health and pediatric care.

Dr. Bailey earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Xavier University of Louisiana, and Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her family medicine residency at Saint Louis University, where she served as chief resident. Her clinical approach emphasizes the prevention and early detection of chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, with a particular focus on the role of obesity and lifestyle in long-term health.

For the past 6 years, Dr. Bailey has practiced full-spectrum family medicine in the outpatient setting, serving diverse, underserved patient populations in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri. She is also certified in medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorder and is conversational in Spanish.

Dr. Bailey is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients and helping them achieve lasting improvements in their health and well-being through a proactive, prevention-focused model of care. In her spare time, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with her miniature poodle Barkley, cultivating succulents, attending concerts, traveling with family and friends, and learning how to play tennis.
